This is a digital sewing pattern for a Georgian men´s coat or jacket worn about 1790.
This sewing pattern shows a coat from circa 1790 with the typical characteristics of the time just befor the french revolution. It has an exaggerated cutaway front with only two button-holes worked functionally, long and narrow sleeves ending in buttoned plackets and a high turndown collar. The narrow skirts are pleated at the sides, front and back are held together with thread brides and buttons, the center back slit is left open.
The sewing pattern itself counts 36 US letter pages up to size US 44 (EU 54) and 42 US letter pages up to size US 56 (EU 66).
A seam allowance of 5/8" (1,5cm) is included.
The instruction explains the historical sewing process as accuratly as possible, but the pattern is also suitable for historical cosplay or steampunk costumes.
The pattern comes with detailed and illustrated sewing instructions in English and German.
It is a multi size pattern, you can choose between US 34-44 (EU 44-54) and US 46-56 (EU 56-66).
