Oh... all right, I'll tell you why. Because Krampus is coming to town!
Krampus is the traditional European "anti-Claus" of Christmas time, grabbing naughty children and whisking them away in his taloned clutches -- and this guy does NOT bother checking his list twice!
THIS IS A CUSTOM, MADE-TO-ORDER LISTING. While I make the best effort to recreate pieces as originally designed, your finished product may differ from photos in listing (e.g. different shades of yarn, different sized chain). Completion can take up to two weeks to a month (usually a little less, sometimes a little more, depending on my schedule).
This crocheted, handmade set contains an approx. 22" tall Krampus figure holding a switch of (real) branches and carrying a (crocheted) basket on his back. His face is made of embroidered details and felt features. He holds a metal chain attached to a crying little girl, whose pigtail is also grasped firmly in his claws, and an upset young boy fits into the basket (boy is fully removable, but the girl is attached). Both children have plastic safety eyes.
Krampus has wire in his arms and legs for some flexibility, and comes with a 7.5" doll stand to hold him up, since he does not stand on his own. The little girl will stand if positioned correctly, or can be arranged into a dragging pose.
This is NOT a toy for children, but rather an art piece made for adult collectors and display only. Playing or rough handling is not recommended!
