This notebook is made by using a traditional Japanese stab binding technique.
Front cover of a gray card stock, with a "Proportions and Measures of the Head" print, from a 1608 edition of "Livre de Pourtraiture" by Jehan Cousin the Younger (ca. 1522–1595), partly hand embroidered in wine red cotton threads which they make the measurements.
On the inner side, the cover is finely lined for smooth writing.
Bound with red jad string.
Contains approx. 50 sheets of white european paper (100 pages front and back).
Dimensions approx. 21cm x 15cm / 8.3 x 5.8 inches (A5).
