3" x 2", 7.6cm x 5.1cm. From County Road 204, at the I-90 Roadcut in Johnson County, Wyoming comes this fantastic Selenite specimen. A hydrous Calcium Sulphate, this twinned crystal is water clear with only minor inclusions (the camera has made them darker and more prominent than they really are) and is very sharply developed. A beautiful specimen from a rather seldom seen locale - I have seen several thousands of Selenite specimens from this locale, and this specimen is easily in the top three of the 'best' specimens from here. A fine addition to your display of fine minerals.
Specimen comes mounted and labeled, ready for your display.
