Handmade organic linen cool pencil case. Mother's Day Gift, College student gift, or teacher gift. Screen printed by hand. Made in Ireland. Can also be used as a small wash bag, makeup bag, cosmetic pouch.
Linen is organic by its very nature. Due to the strength of the linseed, no pesticides are needed in the production of this fabric.
Inspired by beautiful spring meadows I designed this print based on poppies surrounded by an array of wildflowers and foliage. I then made up a silk screen using my original artwork, and screen printed onto a natural heavy linen fabric, sourced from the UK in a petrol blue.
Screen printed with water based textile inks and measuring approx 8" x 3.5" (20cm x 9cm)
I use the best ethical and eco supplies that I can find for my products. The inks used for printing are organic and approved by the soil association. For packaging I use recycled card, tissue paper. And instead of padded envelopes, heavy duty recycled card envelopes are used.
