Want to bring a natural, one-of-a-kind look to your handmade fabric project? This button, individually shaped from forest-salvaged Vermont maple wood, is just the thing. The distinctive dark spalting colors and lines and freeform shape make this button truly unique.

It is approximately 2" x 3/8" and has two holes just over 1/8" diameter to accommodate yarn or thread.

The wood is an off-cut from bowl turning, forest salvaged in northern Vermont. Each button is individually shaped, making each shape subtly its own.

Finished with either completely natural, 100% pure tung oil or an oil/varnish mixture before being buffed with beeswax, the button is soft to touch but durable enough to hold up to years of use.

For proper care, simply clean your item gently by hand with mild detergent, wipe excess moisture from wood surface and hang clothing to dry. Avoid harsh cleaners or soaking in water. Do not machine wash.
