Handmade organic linen pencil case. Screen printed by hand with a floral poppy pattern in red. Mother's Day gift, or college student gift. Can also be used as a small wash bag, makeup bag, cosmetic pouch. Made in Ireland.
Linen by its very nature is inherently organic. Due to the strength of the flaxseed, no pesticides are needed in the production of this fabric.
Inspired by beautiful meadows I designed this print based on poppies surrounded by an array of wildflowers and foliage. I then made up a silk screen using my original artwork, and screen printed onto a natural heavy linen fabric, sourced from the UK in a vermillion red/orange. Finally I have sewn it with a matching red zipper to highlight the print.
Screen printed with eco water based textile inks and measuring approx 8" x 3.5" (20cm x 9cm)
