A limited edition 9-color woodblock print on 8" x 10" Japanese kozo-shi paper. Each print is signed & numbered out of 20 by the artist (though the one in the scan is unsigned, yours will be!).
I've known, ever since spending 5 months of my life one summer devoted to them, that an Eastern bluebird print was inevitable. A birdy song provided the impetus I needed to to express the memory of my li'l baby bluebirds. The composition of this piece is a nod to J.J. Audubon, and the native dogwood tree serves as their perch.
