Inspired by 19th century botanical drawings, I designed this print based on bud shapes and plant seed formations. I then hand cut a stencil using my original artwork, and screen printed onto a natural unbleached, heavy cotton canvas. Sourced from the UK. Finally I have sewn it with a matching zipper to highlight the print.
