Sweet Marimo balls in a sleek, modern, heavy glass plate vase. You will get a large Marimo and a small marimo ball with your order... a mama, baby combo! Comes with a lovely large sea fan and your choice of 14 different colors of pebbles (the color in the photos is green crushed glass).
Marimo moss balls make the perfect little pets... super quiet and easy to care for and you don't even have to feed them! Legend has it, they will bring you love, happiness and good luck. They are happy floating around in their vase and love to be petted. When they are in a super good mood they will produce little bubbles of oxygen. They would love to keep you company at work.
Japanese marimo moss balls are actually fresh water algae (Cladophora aegagropila). They are soft, fuzzy and super easy to care for. Only needs artificial or indirect light and a water change every 1-2 weeks. No direct sun or fertilizer. Marimos can live for several years. They are very slow growing, about 5mm a year, so the large marimo is about 7 years old.
