These are vintage 8"x6" heavy duty diner style plates that I have re-fired in a kiln after applying my drawings. The marble and earthenware figures are from the Art Institute in Chicago. The grass figure is from the Michigan State Museum, and the wooden figure from the Detroit Institute of Arts. The drawings are now permanent and it can be used or displayed. I recommend displaying these because they acquired a few dark spots during the firing. I think this adds to their mystery, almost as if they were a found buried treasure.
