This is a vintage 6 1/2" heavy duty diner style plate that I have re-fired in a kiln after applying my drawing of a squirrel standing on a caterpillar. Above and around the rim it has the idea "See and Do Many Wonderful Things". The drawing is now permanent and it can be used or displayed. A few dark spots appeared in the firing, but they just make it look better!
